EFZ has two categories of membership; Denominations and Para-church

Denominations
EFZ is an umbrella national fellowship church body of 121 denominations of the Evangelical persuasion and provides a platform for joint action in areas that are mutually identified in the furtherance of the spread of the gospel in Zimbabwe. EFZ also provides a platform for networking between denominations through defining and developing strategies and action plans which contribute to the realization of its vision and mission.

Para-Church
EFZ has a membership of over 20 Para church organizations whose vision and mission is to offer specific development work in complement to the work of denominations and their churches. EFZ provides a platform for synergy between a diversity of Para-church groups and facilitates their operations in its established national structures upto grassroots.
