Empowering Rural Young women and girls through livelihoods trainings

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe through the Education in the Family for Transformation project has empowered 50 young women and girls in poultry farming as part of empowering them to become self-sufficient and independent.

A lot of these women were involved in trial-and-error projects, most of which failed due to a lack of knowledge. It was therefore central for the EFZ to address this information and skills gap.

Today a group of rural young women and girls feel ready than ever to begin their journey to success. We are anticipating seeing new and successful projects taking shape in the upcoming months and years from this key intervention.
